Let Me Walk With You
Hear my prayer; let my cry come through
Hide not Your face; let me walk with You
When troubles come, be there by my side
My heart is broken and withered like grass
So, I pray, and so I fast
And I tear myself away from the pulls of pride
Like a lone sparrow on a high roof top
I look down upon a world that is caught
In a net of sin, spiraling out of control
Bring about your mercy and your strong right hand
Deliver us from evil, as only you can
Your Kingdom come; free us from our hole
I have eaten many sorrows like bread
And for water, drank my tears instead
As I leave myself all in Your mercy and care
My days are like a shadow quickly passing away
But I am in Your truth, and that is where I will stay
So, where You are, I may always be there
